The Coldest Savage Stole My Heart

The Coldest Savage Stole My Heart by J. Dominique is hands down one of the best African American Urban Fiction novels out. And it’s well worth reading. In this first part of a three book series you’ll take an unforgettable ride with the national bestselling author J. Dominique that’s signed under Cole Hart Signature. Her writing is very clever, and this story is great. **Warning** This is not your typical Urban romance, dope boy, thug love, or kingpin savage book.

Heart pounding.

Drama filled.

Gritty.

Street literature.
I swear sometimes I hate my baby daddy. Well, maybe not hate him, but all this going back and forth to jail is really playing out. Leaving me alone out here struggling to take care of these kids is played out. And having to be the Mama and the Daddy isn’t what I want for my kids. Now I’m feeling resentful. Then again, the love we make sometimes can have me in my feelings. The gifts, the cars, toys…. Ain’t lying, Bae got my heart. At least, I think so anyway.

Then out of all things, I meet him…

Loyalty was what was expected of her, and Nivea Hynes had no problem giving that and more to her man Quad, but she couldn’t say that after everything she wasn’t becoming resentful. Always having to face life’s challenges alone hasn’t been easy, but she’s managing… barely. Things seem like they can’t get any worse when she collides with a handsome and rude thug type of guy.
Ju Savage is everything that his name implies. In fact, he’s worse. His street status and good looks keep the ladies flocking to him but the last thing he’s looking for is something serious. He’s focused on coming up in the rap game and doesn’t have time for the trouble that he knows a female may cause. That is, until he lays eyes on the beautiful Nivea. Even though their first encounter has them bumping heads, they can’t deny their attraction. Soon Ju finds himself going against everything that he knows to claim her as his own, but that proves to be easier said than done.
With envy and drama threatening to destroy them before they even get started, and an ex that can’t seem to let go, will Nivea stick with the love she’s always known, or will she let one of the coldest savage steal her heart?
